According to a newspaper report she was minding her own business, serving customers who used the drive-through window of the place she worked at. She took a man’s order. When it came time for the man to pay, she was reduced to tears.
She did not realize at first that he was a nudist. According to the newspaper he even leaned back searching for money in his imaginary back pocket. This made his private parts “waggle” as the newspaper wrote.
This sight reduced the poor unsuspecting woman to tears.
What made the story newsworthy is that this nudist has now taken things to the next level—he has gone to court saying that he wants to fight for his rights and the rights of others to be nude in public.
I learned two lessons from this story:
—-Be prepared. We all will have some good days and some bad days. Make the most of every day….even the bad ones.
—-We all have different priorities. Some will go to court in order to have the right to be naked. Some will spend plenty of time and money fighting for the cause they deeply believe in.
Recently I listened to my friend Zvonko Kurkic talk about what he will fight for. When he told me how he felt it is absurd to allow the production of genetically modified foods, I could tell from the tone of his voice he meant it 100%.
Practically here is the action step I am asking you to consider: Take the time to think about what cause matters the most to you. Where do you want to spend your money, time and energy the most and what returns do you expect. As my friend said at the end of his presentation: “One person can make a difference and everyone should try
